Special Education Attorney

Required Experience:

*At least 5 years practicing special education law in NYC

*Experience managing cases and representing clients at hearings with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience:

*Recovering attorneys’ fees in federal court

*Appellate work at the SRO and federal levels

Compensation:

*Very competitive and commensurate with experience. Generous medical, dental, vision, and telemedicine benefits--as well as 401(k) matching. ($150k is the starting base salary for a full-time attorney with 5-6 years of experience practicing special education law in NYC; attorneys with more experience practicing special education law in NYC are eligible for a higher base salary of up to $180k for the first year with the firm).

Hybrid Work:

*Full-time attorneys work in-person at our office in the financial district 1-2 times per week (Tuesdays and some Thursdays) and remotely the other days.
